Lugbara Anthem

The official Lugbara Kari Anthem, composed by Mercy Deogracious Ajedra (aka Deo Mercy) - a Pianist and Organist at Christ The King (Roman Catholic Church) along Arua Avenue, was launched on Wednesday 6th October 2021 in Mvara Ward; roughly 2 minutes long, it sounds quite nice, guess even the deaf Ludwig van Beethoven would have loved it: 

Ama Lugbara ru, ama 'ba aluni

Afa azi maco ama esele ku

Leta asianzu be ama eselea

Ama 'ba aleru, e'yo ada lepi ni

Ama a'bi 'ba ama, ovuzu suru nduni

Wudrikurua 'di eyi ma eselea dria

Suru drile, opi, Agofe amani

Lugbara Kari eci ama tualu.

ADRO fe amani, lonyi capini 'bo

Nyaku, pati, yi, anyapa, oli be

Ama eciti tualu, angu amani ezozu

Ama nga pa so okporu Lugbara ru.
